The Columbus Area Down Syndrome Support Group Welcomes You!
The March meeting of the Columbus Area Down Syndrome Support Group will feature Sandy Muncy from InSource. She will
speaking on the special education process. While this topic is of great importance to all families with school age children,
it will be a great introduction for parents whose child will be entering public school for the first time.
Note that this meeting will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2008 in place of our regular March meeting.
The Columbus Area Down Syndrome Support Group meets the second Thursday of
each month at First Christian Church in Columbus, Indiana. Please join the
group for an evening of fellowship while we all continue to learn more about improving the lives of everyone impacted by Down syndrome. Meeting times are 7:00 p.m.
Use the Lafayette Street Entrance.
The Columbus Area Down Syndrome Support Group encourages anyone impacted by Down syndrome to join the group or simply come to any meeting of interest. This invitation is extended to parents, grandparents and siblings of children with Down syndrome. Professionals who work with people with Down syndrome are also encouraged to get involved with the group. This includes teachers, therapists, doctors and clergy. Providing Service and suppport to South Central Indiana
The Columbus Area Down Syndrome Support Group provides Services and support to families and indviduals, in South Central Indiana, impacted by Down syndrome. The group, headquartered in Columbus, Indiana, maintains a library of Reference Material that provides up to date information on Down syndrome. By working together the group helps to raise awareness and promote the rights of individuals with Down syndrome in our communities.
National Down Syndrome Society Dream Video
